Just One Human Family Day September 12th.

We Share Just One Planet 

Just One Human Family Day, is a day to reflect on the image of humanity as one human family for the purpose of contemplating how we all can share just one planet.
It is a day set aside for humanity to consider living together in harmony as one human family under one planet. 

It is a day meant for humanity to understand that generally; we are sisters, we are brothers, we are neighbors, we are all friends, and we are all one human family living in one planet. 

September 12 has been set aside for the yearly commemoration of National Just One Human Family Day.

Additional Ways One Can Celebrate Just One Human Family Day.

The History 

The inspiration to start the National Day for Just One Human Family came when I was witnessing a vocal group performing the song, ‘We Share Just One Planet’, written by two teachers, Sarah Steven & Catherine Marchese.  

Since then, I believe that a great way to commemorate “Just One Human family Day” is to  welcome  people from all walks of life to sing the song, ‘We Share Just One Planet’ as a celebration of people overcoming adversity and growing together.

So, whether you are a school teachers  or a member of a choir, a church or an organization; or you are just on your own as an individual, you can sing.  Download the music and video of the performance, share the performance of the song on social media and invite others to celebrate and share the planet as One Human Family.

1. Sing and perform the song ‘We Share Just One Planet’ individually or as a group and post the performance on social media.  Then share your post, and invite other people to join in sharing the planet as One Human Family.
                    

2. Download the Just One Human family image logo sign and post a selfie and/or group of people displaying the logo sign. Add a caption of what you are doing in celebrating Just One Human Family and sharing the planet.

3. Post a video of yourself displaying the image logo and state what you plan to do towards sharing just one planet as a celebration of Just One Human Family.

Or, post a Video of yourself displaying the image logo and state what you would do on Just One Human Family Day to better the planet if you were the President of the United States (and/or United Nations).

Meaningful Connection 

4. Simply reach out to someone as a neighbor

and make a meaningful earth connection that plants some human growth as One Human Family. Perhaps, plant a tree or a garden with someone, or help an elderly neighbor paint a house, volunteer for a cause of your choice, help someone cross the street safely, donate to a food bank, hug a tree…. etc.

Plant a Seed of Positive Growth

5. The world we live in is filled with challenges, so make the positive change and be a proactive human citizen to celebrate Just One Human Family day. To love our neighbor can be translated as to live as a human family that shares just one planet as global neighbors. It is to understand ourselves as part of a larger picture in the world which we seek for others the same goodness we seek for ourselves.
